About the samples, prices and timing
Choose printed subgrades to require scores on the physical slab: Beckett’s compared subgrade tier, Mint and Degree qualify. Choose digital subgrades or a report to also include AGS and TAG. Choosing the overall grade keeps all otherwise eligible companies. Transparency is not a guarantee of agreement with the grade. Beckett and Mint provide category subgrades; TAG and AGS provide digital analysis; Degree publishes subgrades and cert-page notes. PSA Grader Notes are not included in its compared base tier, so PSA is excluded when a breakdown is required. SGC, CGC and DGA are excluded from that filter because a comparable included breakdown has not been confirmed here. Choosing “The final grade is enough” keeps all otherwise eligible services. These are visual composites: the same Jordan rookie or Pikachu sample card is placed inside photographs of real holders. They are not actual graded examples of those cards. TCG name fields are illustrative Pikachu overlays; reference grades do not certify the sample inserts. DGA uses an actual custom-label holder photo from its gallery. Sports reference labels belong to the original photographed cards, not the sample inserts. TAG is shown in a light-background simulation to make its clear, inscribed holder easier to compare. Holder proportions follow the reference photos; images are not a measurement or accessory-fit guarantee. Some photos show an earlier label edition.
Only base or low-tier U.S. direct single-card submissions are compared. Each company keeps the same service level throughout the questions: choosing a shorter wait or a flexible budget never upgrades it to a faster paid tier. Fees are before shipping, insurance, tax, membership or optional upgrades. Beckett is compared using its published Base service with subgrades, independently of current submission availability; check its website before submitting. TAG Base requires five cards and is excluded. AGS fees depend on card type. Degree uses its own 0–11 scale. Custom Degree color adds $3 when selected. CGC’s DC custom labels are limited to eligible cards, so are not treated as general Jordan/Pikachu customization.
Timing is approximate, at the grader. Business-day estimates are converted at seven calendar days per five business days, without holidays, intake or shipping. Estimates are not guarantees. SGC’s 40+ business-day Standard has no published upper limit and is only shown when you choose no deadline. DGA quotes calendar days on its submission page; its homepage differs. For standard 2.5 × 3.5 inch cards, this prototype compares only its base submission: $15.50/35 days. Its separate PC-only services are excluded. Confirm the selected tier and insured value before sending cards.
Resale matches are a shortlist, not a prediction of profit. Exact card acceptance, condition and sold comparisons still matter.
